I hope everyone is enjoying my new website. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you all. I know that you're going to enjoy all of the great things happening here. I'm going to try to keep everything fresh and new. I'd like to know what everyone thinks, and if you have any suggestions, or if you would like to participate in my featued artists posts and featured guests blogs, please let me know. EVERYTHING JEWELS DESIGNS
WOW! It sure has been one hell of a road! I haven't added very much to my blog since I first started setting up this website. If I could say one thing about setting up a website it would have to be, TIME CONSUMING. You don't have to be a computer genius to set one up, you just have to have a whole tone of time. If you have kids to care for, or family obligations, or a 9-5 job, you might as well hire someone to build a website for you. I have to say that it could cost you, and also that's just the beginning of the time you'll need. After you get your website set up, then you'll probably have to market it (that's if you're hoping to sell something, or you hoping to get folks to your site). I think maybe after I get done with this website, I might offer my services to folks who don't have the time to set up their own website. I'll try to keep the price under the going rate (way under), so if anyone is interested in having your own website, but you don't have all that time (due to life getting in the way) let me know, I'll see what I can do. I don't want to put the FEAR of setting up a site, into anyone, it's a fantastic thing to have, especially if you do a lot of work online, or you just want someplace for your family and friends to congregate. WebStarts is the Host of this website, and believe me when I tell you they are the absolute best you can get. I've research 100's of Hosts, and this one was the first that I found, that helps you every step of the way, and they don't charge you for that help, like most Hosts do. I'll give you my affiliate link at the end of this post. This is a FREE Hosting site, of course if you want unlimited pages, like yours truly did, then you can upgrade. Even with all of the help, they can't provide you with the time to set up a site, that of course is totally up to you. Anyway, I've been working tirelessly on this site for the last couple of months. As I've said on my other pages, this is a website for Artists/Crafters (as far as I'm concerned artists and crafters are one and the same, there is no difference in the distinction), and our faithful followers. Believe it or not there are many out there who appreciate all of our efforts to bring them beautiful handmade items. You just can't find what we offer in a Big Box Store. You can also count on getting our absolute best, when you purchase something from us, why, because we put our heart and soul into everything we make. Plus, most of what we create is a one of a kind piece. I think that makes it even more special.
There is a ton of things to see on my site,. Check out the other pages, and see what you find. I have a page for your URL's if you would like to promote your business, and you don't have a lot of money to advertise, or you just want another place to be seen. It only cost $1. per URL. Also if you would like more detailed advertising I have a Featured Artist Page, that you can advertise your business, add pictures, and if you like you can also add a video. There is one more advertising page, and this is a Featured Guest Blog page. Artists/Crafters who have been in business/crafting for over two years, are welcome to add a blog spot to this page. This is by invitation only, and it's FREE. You can do everything you can do on the Featured Artist Page, with one exception, you have impart your Tricks of the Trade, to your fellow artists. You have to help someone else with your business know-how and/or an easier way to create (such as how to make something). If you're interested, just go to my Application Page, and email your completed application. You can also email me with any question you might have. Everything you need to know is right on that page, so check it out if your interested.
Right now I'm in the process of setting up my first website Group. It's called The Zodiac Group, it you're interested in Astrology, and how it affects you, on a personal level. This is sure to be a very interesting group. You will need to fill out all your group contact info before you're even allowed into the inner sanctum. This is a private group and I would like to keep it that way. There is also a couple of different steps you will need to follow in order to get back into the group (after initally filling out and submitting you contact info). This group will not show up on the Menue Selection Bar, only the Group Contact Page will be seen on the menue bar, the rest of the pages will be hidden.
